If you are applying to more than one nursing school do you have to take the NET for each school or just once? Thanks for any input!

Yes there is only one test and it is either the NET or HESI and I believe if u take it at one school that those results can be accepted at another. But that could depend on your state and other factors. Check with the schools u have in mind. But I think that whether u are considering an RN or LPN program that there is a test to be taken prior to admission. My school offers a NET study book for $36 and the library also has study resources. Hope this helps and good luck!:welcome:

If you scores are good and current, you can just have the results forwarded to whatever school you like. However, some schools can get picky and only like scores that are a year old or less. Some are not so picky.
Good luck.

The schools you are applying for are best able to answer that question. As for my college, students have to retake the NET each year, when they apply. So I'd think that as long as your score is fairly recent (less than a year), you should be okay. Good luck to you!

Some schools will not accept NET scores from other colleges, so check with your schools to make sure.
