Hello,
This is Stephanie and my classes start November 17th and I am a nervous wreck about classes. I have no medical expereince and I really want to be a travel nurse. I am scared to death of the clinicals when they start. I am also scared of the classes itself. Has anyone else felt this way?

stephanie. . .i think everyone feels this way. you are not alone. it's just that not everyone is willing to admit feeling this to others. read this thread i'm posting below. it was started and maintained by an lvn student last year and it chronicles her year of practical nursing school. she just posted to it the other day that she is waiting to get the results of her nxlex exam that she took several weeks ago.
this is a thread that was started a few months ago. you might want to join in on it:

It is overwhelming at first but you will find your way. Hang in there and when it is all over you will feel so proud of yourself.

Stephanie....don't worry, you'll be fine. I also started this long, strange trip known as nursing school w/ no previous medical experience (and at the grand old age of 50, to boot ). It's a lot of work, but.....if you want it, it's doable, for sure. Just stay up on assignments/readings/etc, don't be afraid to ask questions (of both the instructors and your fellow students), and everything will be OK Looking back (am over halfway through lpn school), I should've done this years ago...LOL
