Nervous about test results

I just took the state test today and I'm hoping I passed but I don't know. My skills were easy but it's like my mind went blank. Luckily I did the steps in bold and some of my sills didn't have bold steps. Some of the steps I forgot to do and didn't realize it until after the test and went through the book and by then it's too late to tell the evaluator what you did wrong and correct them. I had a good feeling about the test before and after so I hoped that means I passed. Usually when I have good feelings about a test I pass it, but I don't know if that's the case here. I know you have to have 80% on each skill so I don't know how many points they take off for each step you miss. But I'm praying I passed, $107 is a lot of money to be failing, then I have to pay to retake it.

Good luck to you, I'm sure you passed. I took the Ohio STNA test (I'm assuming thats what you took since your profile says your in Ohio) in August and passed the first time. I was very nervous because I didn't take a class but took the test from my first semester of nursing school. Did they tell you that you can call and get results? I took the test on a Saturday and got my results by phone on Weds. or Thurs.

Well thanks for telling me, no one told me I could get my results over the phone. But I'm hoping I passed I feel I made some dumb mistakes as far as forgetting some of the steps and I'm worried I didn't do everything correctly, but if didn't pass, I'll retake it and try to pratice more.

Hi, are you all talking about the NCLEX? The boards for RN licensure.

It's naturally stressful, everything is on the line, it all comes down to this. If you werent nervous I would be worried for you!! My experience has been that if you studied and didn't goof off and have been successful all through school, then you know what you need to know and it will show through on the test. Some people are terrible test takers. I had a friend that was like that. She failed the board exam the first time, barely passed the second time and is one of the best and smartest nurses I know. I would trust her with my life.

Hang in there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe you can check the results online if your Boards website allows you. Good luck!

Sorry for the confusion, I was talking about Stna test.

Thank you medicrnohio

I took my boards on the 3rd or November and I'm still waiting for results. I did 198 questions in four hours and the computer stopped. I sometimes feel I passed and then sometimes I feel I failed. I took my boards in New Mexico. Anyone else from New Mexico that had to wait this long? I don't have a license posted on the site for NMBN. I took RN boards.
