Nervous system Lab Practical!

I'm sooooo scared about my final lab practical...currently i have a 75 average...i have one lab practical and one final left to make it up to a good grade...hoping for a B. please..any tips on how to study for this? Thanks!

I don't know what to tell you. I hate the nervous system myself but I found it very easy to just give yourself mnemonics for everything like the cranial nerves-I say "3 O's, 2 T's, A FAG (like queer), V, S, H

Oh Once One Takes The Anatomy Final Very Good Vacation AHead gotta remember a and h in the last one.

Well, here is something I think is quite funny. We just began the CNS in my lab. We have only 2 classes left and are disecting a sheeps brain next week which will be on the final the week after along with everything else. It is not possible to learn the brain, parts and functions all in one week in addition to all the stuff since the beginning. The semester is almost over and they are just craming it in, doesnt matter if we learn it.

We are in the same boat, but with the special sense. We did CNS and PNS last week, and all the special sense this week. On Wed, I have to take the lab final. They sure do just cram it in! I have over 400 flash cards made for 50 questions!

I think I am going to not even look at the brain and just focus on the past stuff and do good on that we have 50 questions so will maybe only have like 3 on the whole thing so I am not going crazy. Good luck to you on yours. I just want to get through this course.

Yeah, mine covers muscles, nervous system and special systems. 70% of the test will be muscles and special senses, so I am trying to focus on that. If I get a grip on that, then I will start worrying about the sheep brain.

we did the sheep brain today! i have the practical on saturday. 75 questions...40 will be on brain. after the practical we have the final...6 chapters...Gosh they sure make our life a living hell especially when it gets closer to the end of semester! good luck to all! i'll keep you all in my prayers...keep me in yours to0!

My friends were soooooo disgusted with the sheep brain...so i went in the lab with a closed mind...but honestly...it wasn't what i expected...(i even took a paper bag with me thinking i might need something to throw up in)...sure, the smell was really bad but was very fascinating to see all types of nerves and which part does what to the body and all.
