neonatal websites

I thought it would be cool if we all listed some good neonatal websites and make it a sticky. Not sure how to make a sticky, but I'm sure someone does. I noticed that the ICU forum has a sticky of ICU websites and I thought it was a good idea:

Here are a few of my favorite neonatal websites:

www.neonatology.org

www.nicuniversity.org

www.pediatrix.com

www.marchofdimes.com

thanks to this messages now i can easily access to web sites and know where to go. thank you very much guys..

Hi,people,I would recommend a journal:Neonatal network .It's really great.

http://www.neonatalnetwork.com/

But your might need subscription to read full-text.

that's really great!

Thx

Hi I am a student nurse and I am going to clinicals next week. My 1dt day is in the NICU and I am really nervous. Is there a NICU assessment form that anyone has or a peds one that might come in handy? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Friends,

How do u set limits on your monitor for High and low ,systolic and diastolic measurements for arterial monitoring. Mean BP we set according to gestational age. Do u have specific guidelines or protocols in your unit.

HI

I don't know if this is quite what you're looking for but

Cape Fear Careers - Opportunities at Cape Fear Valley Health System

(it actually takes you to the neonatal outreach page, don't know why it renamed it, should be called motherbabuniversity.com but the link does work I checked).

it has free contact hours if you do the peapods or self-study modules

I love that site. Great way to get caught up on some CEU's when you've got some downtime at work and it's better than going to amazon!!

Here's another site:

http://dortoms.com/nicu/nicu.asp

The Cheat Sheet is pretty cool for new nurses the site has a nice developmental focus.

Specializes in NICU level 3.

I found another good website. Called Neonatal Handbook

http://www.rch.org.au/nets/handbook/index.cfm

Sometimes it is hard to find good NICU sites. As a nursing student who also works in the NICU, I feel it is good to have a solid NICU resource list.

Here are my top NICU websites:

NeonatalICU.com - Collective resource on NICU criteria and general information. Good resource for parents, too.

NICU on Wikipedia - Good, solid NICU information. Can't go wrong with wikipedia.

NICU on Kid's Health - Good resource for parents as well. Very thorough.
