Break it down into chunks, if you need, but just keep going! It will all work out! I remember feeling the same way at the end of paramedic class - I wanted my life back, my personality back, a full night's sleep, wanted to NOT dream of pt's and... OMG! I just wanted a day without EMS in it, even though I love it. Just needed a break!
Pushing through is so worth it though! The joy of reaching your goal is worth it. Your life will be BETTER a year from now. Just keep going!
When do you take test #5?
Be glad you are not at the six year, six month mark with the CPNE, one nursing exam, and the FCCA looming in front of you, personal health and family issues in your life, and no way to come up with the money to schedule the CPNE to meet your deadline once you become eligible. Think of that scenario every time you start to get sluggish about your progress.
I so know how you feel. I enrolled in 2003 and graduated in 08. In between I had 2 babies and a full time job and a per diem job so I did not know what a life was like. If you live in a state where finishing is not time is of the essense I would take my time. Do a course and take a couple of weeks off. It is easy to lose your motivation but believe me I am so glad I stuck it out. I am a happy RN in a busy NICU and have had no issues with EC. So good luck. It will get better. :heartbeat

Ok, I am on LS1 and half way there and starting to really feel burned out. Started in January and about to soon take test # 5 of 8. I am really starting to miss my life and wondering if I am ever going to make it through this. I log in and read the post trying to stay motivated but am in need of a bit of encouragement. Advice please...
