This is going to sound stupid, but play some Tomb Raider or Assassin's Creed. Build up that problem solving skill.
Nursing in it's simplest form is treating symptoms and preventing illness and injury, literally nursing the patient. Basically, if the patient has a fever, you want to undo the fever. So if his temperature is high, making him hot, you want to make him cold. Once that thought process becomes automatic, nursing school gets way easier.

I am graduating with an associate's in health sciences next month, but won't be starting nursing school until fall 2019. Feeling completely clueless on what to do until then at this point. I've considered just trying to find a job, but there doesn't seem to be much I can do with this degree. I've considered doing more volunteer work & taking a CNA course to make my resume look more appealing since the application deadline for #1 school I want to go to for my BSN is in March. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
