Hi. That actually sounds pretty good to me. We are running at 38 residents to 1 nurse, 2-3 CNAs. And only 1 nurse at night, 1 CNA at night for the same 38 residents. We are certified for 45 and if we are at full census we still have the same staff numbers. I wish I could find a job in LTC around here that staffs like the facility that you have applied. It would be a dream!

I am considering a position at a LTC as an RN. I have to let them know this week.........The staffing ratio is one nurse for 20-22 residents on days with 3 aides for 66 residents (three nurses). Is that standard staffing or scary staffing?
