Need a stethoscope with a timepiece

I need to find a stethoscope that has a timepiece in it. I have tried several, but one bang off the siderail and it is worthless. I am one of those strange persons that stop watches when I wear them. I hear it is something with the magnetic "personality" I have.

Do anyone else have this problem and have you found a good timepiece that can withstand the bangs and bumps of LTC nursing.

It's a Sprague-type. which I personally dislike b/o the weight. I don't like to wear watches because it's harder to wash my hands w/them. If I can't use a wall clock, I use my pin-on watch:

Another thing you might try is to attach a watch to the stethescope w/an allergy band.

The lanyard watch from allheart.com is also nice. The watch face is a little over an inch across with big numbers that any ole blind lady whose glasses are slipping down can read. I think the weight distribution might be better on a pin-on watch though. And then it depends on when and how you're using it. If you have bust enough to make a shelf then pin-on will just sit nicely. I had to shorten the lanyard on mine so it would do that, the first night I wore it, I went to flip it over my shoulder to not get it in a mess and hit myself square in the head.

I always use the clock in the room. I always had problems using my own watch and holding my hand steady. I do like being able to lean on the bed to put more pressure on the scope.
