So I'm half way through an accelerated LPN program and I've completely lost motivation. Maybe it's the months of getting 4 hours of sleep a night or maybe it's not having a day off from school or studying in 6 months but I'm having trouble seeing the light of day. We started our class with 35 and have 19 left with people still falling.
Does anyone have some motivating words? I can use all the help I can get.

What is your class schedule like? How much longer do you have? I start an accelerated program in a few weeks so I am not too sure what advice I can offer other than try not to lose sight as to why you started school in the first place. Though it may feel like torture right now, you are definitely bettering yourself in the long run. So many more job opportunities will be opening for you once you graduate and you will be able to help so many people with your education. Stick with it and keep up all the hard work. IT WILL PAY OFF even if it is hard to see the end of the rainbow right now! I wish you the best in your journey!! :)
The first 1/3 I had 7 classes and one day of clinical a week. Now I have three classes and three days of clinical. I LOVE most of my clinicals but loathe the hospital we are at for the next 9 weeks. That and my teachers have a 'tough love' approach to learning. AKA, asking a question is like begging to be torn down on why you don't already know the answer. Thanks for the support. It's just been a long month or so :)

hey im just hear to tell u that u can do it, i graduate this thursday from a 1 year accelerated program, i know it is hell on earth but i made it and so can you, we started with 30 and 21 of us are graduating. my best advice to you is google whatever i didnt know i looked it up before i went to my instructors, yeah they do show u tough love but its only to make u the best nurse, we were terrified of our instructors but by the end we looked up to them as our mentors. when i was 6 months in i studied all day every day, lost a lot of friends and had time for no one, no social life no nothing, but hey i made it andi know there is light at the end of the tunnel, i felt like dropping out 5 months in and i cried to my teacher, then i got myself together and went back to class, if you have to cry then just left it out, thats how i made it through tears and determination, its cool u got this many have done this before us and many will do it after us, so keep ur head high and get u some vitamins, ur body is gonna need them, now im about to graduate. I MADE IT AND YOU CAN TOO, take care any questions just ask this is a great website for advice i joined it right before i stared school and have used it for support since then, people have gave me support the same way i gave u and i used their words for encouragment. when u look back when ur done ur gonna be like omg that year flew by, congrats and keep doing what ur doing
