I have asked this question before I found out the status of acceptance. I got accepted!! And aside from what the school says I will need, uniform color, shoes, nurse pack, etc. With school supplies or extras, what were the things you couldnt have gone without through your nursing school, or if youre in school now. I was given an idea for a "med bag" ( tylenol, midol, lady things, etc) to be prepared for the unthinkable or headaches that may happen. Or tupperware for your lunches? Of course folders, paper, highlighters. But what were/or are your life savers to get through the day? Thank you. I start in June and Im ready to fill a shopping cart up with school supplies and things that I may not realize I need until Im in the middle of class.

HIGHLIGHTERS. #1 most important. I would also suggest getting different colored pens to write your notes in, it is a very helpful thing when you study. I bought a cross-body purse so I wouldn't have to carry around a lot of extra junk, I basically bring my wallet, keys, and Advil. I do not have a rolling backpack but I wish I did! Also if you can take them you're going to need those energy multi vitamins  ... Probably a badge reel too. Thats all I can think of right now!

Thank you for responding. I seriously dread the bag on wheels lol but i may do it. I still have mixed feeling on it but i already have a mommy back. I cant wait to go shopping for colored pens! :)

Instead of the rolling backpack I opted for a rolling suitcase. It fits more stuff in it and I can use it again!

I always had snacks for class and clinical! Granola bars, yogurt, bananas, chips etc...

Highlighters, flash cards, some sort of pain killer, water bottles, recorder (if your instructor lets you record him or her)

Love the Advil part

Mints. When you have to clean up foul smelling things you will want mints! Don't forget lotion for your dry hands after washing so much.
