  1. I'm in Norman and got my letter today.
  2. I got my letter!! I got in Traditional track Career Ladder!! Eeeeeeekkkkkk!!
  3. Did anyone get a letter today? I didn't get anything.
  4. Nothing from Rose in the mail today....ugh
  5. No word yet, my mail hasn't got here yet today. There is only today and tomorrow before the first of December. I hope I don't have to wait until the last possible day to know what my fate is!! Fingers and toes crossed!!
  6. This is a special type of torture....Today the most evil thing happened. I opened my mail box and saw a fat envelope with a blue logo on the return address and my heart sank and i thought, THIS IS IT!!!! Upon closer inspection, it was spam mail.......why me lol So much for getting anything before Thanksgiving break if they aren't in the mail already :/ I'm not holding my breath!
  7. I saw the nursing secretary Gail today and she said they still haven't mailed out acceptance letters...
  8. Another day of disappointment :/ I'm scared its going to be closer to the end of November until we know for sure!
  9. Still waiting! Has anyone tried to call the nursing dept office? I've heard in previous application periods that students have been told their application status over the phone after the acceptance and denial letters have been mailed out.
  10. I still haven't heard anything. I'm hoping they got sent out today if not already! The wait is pure agony!
  11. I applied for Spring 2017 Career Ladder. I looked on some posts on here that says the cutoff has been 115 in a recent previous semester for Beginning Track. I can't find out as much about Career Ladder though. A girl in my class said she got in last semester for Career Ladder with 75 points. How many preference points did you guys have? I had 81 for Career Ladder.
  12. I used my Hurst Review LPN NCLEX material to study for the Hesi challenge exam. Have you not already successfully completed the challenge exam? I thought you had to have taken the challenge exam and make at least a 850 to complete your application for the program.
  13. I applied for Career Ladder Spring 2017. I had 81 points. I asked the nursing secretary Gail how many applicants there were this period and she said they collected 145 applications total, both traditional track and career ladder combined. Some girls I spoke to that got in last semester but were unsuccessful in a required course so they got dropped from the program said they got in last semester (Spring 2016) with 75 points. Keeping my fingers crossed!
  14. I can't speak from experience, but some of the "seasoned" nurses I befriend have said that the hated the "self scheduling" system because quite often they got scheduled on days they didn't request anyways.....kind of a complete contradiction if you ask me. But to me it sounds as if your already leaning towards Job A.....it sounds as if it may fit your life style more appropriately. Good luck with your decision!!
