U.S.A. California

Hi All Nurses,

I recently passed my NCLEX-PN and did my BLS also. I live in the East Bay area of California. Been applying for a job anywhere from Assisted living to Nursing homes, but unfortunately no one is hiring without at least one year experience. I am having difficulty and running out of money to support myself. I dont know where else to go anymore, i dont know where is the place that hires new grads or giving us a chance to get experience at all. I just feel like this is SO UNFAIR TO US!! spend money to take the board and studying to be an LVN then now NO ONE is this area wants to hire us...Is there anyone here RN, LVN who are working at this moment that can help me at least find a nursing position in the East Bay area?? I would appreciate it so much!! Thank you. You can pvt me or just post here...:nurse::nurse::crying2::crying2::confused::confused:

I was thinking of doing my reciprocity in IL..i heard there still a lot of nursing hiring homes hiring LPN in Chicago, IL..that's my plan B

I saw an ad for a hospital in Clayton,Missouri that was hiring new grads and those getting ready to graduate within one year. I think it was called Barnes Jewish hospital?:nurse: I'm not sure how that ad ended up on a Florida job site.;)
