what type of beta blocker does not affect blood sugar
question 2
the patient says she does not remember when to take her meds so she just has all 3 pills at lunch why is this not a good idea for teczem sr (enalapril 5 mg and diltiazem 180 mg) and pravachol?

You may or may not get help with those questions, reason being it sounds like something you may have to look for again someday and if you can't find it now, how would you find it later?
Homework help is usually frowned upon, but you may get lucky.
Good luck!

nurses eating their young on allnurses forum
you know, dudes, there are good ways and crappy ways to help nursing students. i'm sorry to see that some of you are quick to jump to the crappy ways. here you are sitting in the comfort of your homes at your leisure (i'm assuming you aren't playing on the computer at work) and instead of giving some good constructive hints and directions to help the poor op out, you trash her for even asking a question. i'm embarrassed to call you fellow nurses. the op posted a similar message on the student forums and when she got no responses (because none of the other students knew the answer, you think?) she came to this forum for help and got smacked. good going--not. you could have helped without giving the actual answer.

are there any implications in taking a short-acting and long-acting calcium channel blocker together?

whoops.
forgot to address question #1:
since beta blockers are known to impact blood sugars, then one might conclude the beta blocker that doesn't affect blood sugar, would be a newer one.....a search will provide your answer.
