Need a little help & Advice

I have to take the Nursing School entrance exam in Febuary and I'm not sure which one it will be because they don't tell us and they change it. Last Feb it was the TEAS does anyone have any advice on what I can get to help me study for this unknown test?

Also I just finished Algebra, which I put off as long as I could and I passed it by the hair on my head. I'm NOT good at Math and this semester I have to take Medical Dosage Calculations anyone with advice on anything I can get to help me with that. We're using Medical Dosage Calculations 8th edition by Olsen. Thank you for any help you can give.

You need a med math textbook. There are plenty available and may find one at the school's bookstore.

You really cannot study for these tests as they are testing general knowledge. The school knows you do not have nursing knowledge yet. Again, try the school's bookstore to see if they have study guides. Or call the school's testing center to find out type of test and if they have study guides. Then quit worrying. It won't help.

If you do a search you can find other posts from people who have taken or are taking the TEAS. I personally am taking the NLN to which there is a study guide to so I think there is one for the TEAS as well.

I also am terrible at math but I did take a medical dosage math and it was easy. Although I barely passed regular math I ended up with an A in Medical math. I think it's just easier to visualize. If you have the book start looking through it. And keep practicing your math skills for your upcoming exam because there will be a portion on math for sure regardless of what exam your school decides to use.

With the medical drug dosage, i took that class last semester and its really easy. I am not that good in math either, but I did really well in that class. Its all decimals, and conversions. Its an easy class, and you will learn alot.
