need IV therapy cert in texas

hi i'am a lvn in dallas texas area i would like to know how i can get my cert in IV therapy i have called nursing homes and hospitals with no answers any help in this area would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance :rotfl:

Your employer is the one who certifies. Most have a class to take, or a self-learning module that is augmented by competency checklist. When all is complete you get a certificate and your supervisor is made aware of the new status. We certify our own employees, but not other LVN's. Part of our certification process includes our policies and procedures which are of no interest to others.

I work in a Alzheimers center and my company sent me to our house Pharmacy (APS) and did mine in one day.... You have to be sent by your company though. Try JPS in Ft Worth I know they have one in Cont ED. Good luck to you!!!!
