Hi !! I am a high school student & I hope to start nursing school in about a year and a half. I plan to get an associates degree. I would love to eventually get into the NICU or newborn nursery but I'm scared. Can you tell about the chances of a new grad getting into NICU or newborn nursery ?? Is it really as hard as it sounds ?? Please ~ I need more info !!

Thanx dawngloves for the great links !! I still have about a year and a half to worry about it but I'm getting really excited about nursing !! From the links I think it would be best for me first to try to get a job in the well-baby nursery if possible for the experience. Does anyone disagree or have any more helpful info ??
