Need Help from those with wonderful ideas!

hello, would anybody please help me? i need an interesting, good ob-dr topic for an information drive by jun 9 because it will be graded and we really need it to help our grades. it has to be something where we can do a simple installation set up or visual display to explain or represent our project - on a limited space. would greatly appreciate any ideas or suggestions you may have. thanks a lot!

"information drive by"? do you mean a billboard or something like it, out on the road?? if so, that's gotta be one of the stranger nursing class projects i've heard....are you supposed to be an advertising design/ graphic artist/ copywriter in your spare time??

Hello,

It's not some kind of a billboard - it's just kind of a science fair project type-where we put up some kind of set up to represent our theme or idea. then someone is tasked to defend or sy something about the whole project and the grade for the project is the grade of the whole group. Did u have any similar projects on your foundation day or nursing day?

Not sure exactly of what you are asking, do you need a topic? I am not sure if the Phillipines has a weight problem like the United States but I did a project on pregnancy after gastric bypass. It went really well and was well received, as it hasn't been overdone and there is a lot of new info.

Hi Ms. BSNin06,

thanks for your nice suggestion! i am very much interested in the topic . It would be something quite ahead of our time. Obesity is not considered a big health problem over here in the Philippines per se although we have a large percentage of obese people- we see some tv commercials reminding us about health although this is more profit oriented rather than serious concern. Gastric bypass is quite new here and doing a project on that esp in line with pregnancy would be an interesting topic. I will ask our moderator and see what she has to say. Will keep you posted. Since everyone is worried about a worldwide bird flu epidemic right now, what about the flu, flu vaccine and its effects on pregnancy or the fetus? You could try to find some information on the bird flu (maybe on the website of the World Health Organization), but if you can't there's enough of whatever flu is going around at any one time to be enough of a health threat to pregnant women anywhere.
