Need help with my RN resume!!

Published

Hi everyone! I'm a BSN graduate in the philippines and just passed nclex rn here in California. Now my question is do I need to put my clinicals in my resume even if its all done in the Philippines??? I don't have any prior experience so I'm thinking it might help to include clinicals.

Of course! It is all the experience you have so they would be glad to see what you accomplished in nursing school. I never had experience as a international nurse but I do not think they will disregard your experience just because you went to school in the Philippines. Good luck!

If you are a new grad (and you are) and have just passed NCLEX in CA anyone will know that you have completed the required clinical rotations to have done that, and they know what they are no matter where you took them.

You don't have any clinical experience as an RN. If you did a senior practicum/capstone/etc. in a particular clinical area, mention that in your resume.Otherwise it's the same thing that everyone else did to pass school and get approved by CA BoN to take NCLEX there.

I agree with GrnTea, def adding a senior preceptorship experience is a great addition, if you have one.
