Need help retaking NCLEX in another state

good day everyone I know this is a great resource and wealth of information for students as well as experienced nurses. My dillema is as follows. I finished PN school in Colorado about 6 years ago and have taken the NCLEX 3 time but for some reason did not pass. Now I would like to take it in another state other than Colorado. I want to know if anyone has had similar experiences or advice would be much appreciated. I would like to be able to take my NCLEX.PN then go on to a LPN-BSN program.

The exam is no different in one state to another so is there a reason why you want to go to another state?

yes that is correct but Colorado has limits on how many times you can take it. that is the reason Im looking at testing at another state.

bbtomcat, you can apply to NY or Hawaii. Did you go to PIMA or DSN?
