I hope this is allright to post.

A friend of mine and I are working on a story, slightly springboarded from the 1993 film Tombstone, with Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer. The basic premise is that Doc Holliday is accidentally shot during the gunfight at the OK Corral, and blasted into the future by a Random Act of God (we didn't want to get into B.Sed quantam physics).

I would like to ask you to go over the story and check the medical situations for accuracy. I'm a pre-RN student (working on prerequisites to the prerequisites.. sigh), and general medical nerd. I write the dramatic bits and medical happenings; my friend writes the humourous parts. The main characters of Jean and Elizabeth are slightly self-insertions of her and me.

I also need help writing a realistic scene for the next chapter, involving the treatment of anaphylactic shock.

Thank you!

Look up EMS treatment of Anaphylactic Shock on Yahoo...for some reason my PDF files won't come up so I can't open the link...but you will want to know the EMS treatment for cool info to use in your story. I found lots (but can't open them...grrrrrrr!). Look for the protocols...they would certainly ad some info and excitement to your story!

After that then you may do a search for Emergency room and hospital treatment to have continuity to the story!

Oh how fun...good luck with the story!
