No - because rigormortum is a temporary state
Yep, JentheRN05 is correct. Police, etc, can tell about how long a person has been dead according to the rigor mortis state.
The remaining ATP and Ca++ causes the muscles to contract, but because there isn't any ATP left, the muscles can only start to decompose.
There for you have rigor mortis for a short time, then a release (actually a decomposition) of the muscles.
EDITED TO ADD: Here's something to read, it says rigor mortis last approximately 72 hours. Therefore, after 3 days, the body would be decomposing.http://chemistry.about.com/cs/biochemistry/a/aa061903a.htm

explain the reason for this. if the victim had been discovered 3 days later, would the corner have had the same difficulty? explain.
i appreciate any feed back

Rigor mortum has to be the answer, it's temporary. And it has something to do with Calcium Ion release.
