Is intermediate care the same as step-down ICU? Both positions you were offered seem like heavy pts, so I guess I would go for the better schedule, and the one that fits your financial plan better. I guess you have to decide if you want to work 5 days a week or 3, and if you can handle being away from family and friends. The hospital job is probably a better opportunity, overall.
yes is a critical care unit kind of like a step down unit. the patient ratio is 3 to 4. but for the rehab is for brain injury pts and the pt/ratio is like 20 . I am ok with living alone bc all my years in school I didnt live with my family I only moved bk after graduation. But my problem is being bale to save money and also being able to go bk to school

:confused:I am blessed to get a job offer for 2 jobs all out of state after 4 months of job hunting but both pays the same rate. one is in state where my sister lives and I can save more living with my sister but is in a rehab and no tuition assistant for me to go do my masters. The second offer is from a big hospital in another state which is an 1hr 30 mins away from me and will require relocation meaning I have to live by myself by renting an apartment around $600 a month bc the cost of living there is cheap. For the hospital the offer is 3 days work for 12hrs shift and is a 7pm to 7am position. it is obvious that if I live with my sister and go for the rehab position 8hrs shift 11pm to 7am fulltime I will be able to save more money but am just confused dnt know wat to do I plan on going bk to school in september for my masters and I also have loans to pay and have to save and also send my parents money at least every month to assist them . am so confused pls help:confused:
