Hello everyone,
Just to give a little feedback, I graduated from college in 1998 with my BSN. I took my test once in 1999 and again in 2000 and unsuccessfully did not pass. After taking it the second time I got discouraged and have not taken it since. Now 10 years later I wanted to get back on track. I have curretnly moved from NJ to the Atlanta GA area and am looking for a review class close enough so that I can work and possibly go to a class after work. Since I am not married and don't have any kids I figured that if I want to get back into the swing of things and really do the nurse thing, right now is the best opportunity before I do start a family. So if any one has any suggestion or ideas of places that I could contact to find out further information that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Have you checked your BON? There is a link to all the state BON's in the "link" tab at the top of this page. Best wishes.
Yes I just joined yesterday so that is the first step that I am going to take tomorrow in giving them a call to see what advice / information they give me. Thanks for fast response.

As far as good review classes..try NCSBN site @learningext.com (from the makers of NCLEX-RN/LPN test) and Kaplan review, both are good for content and questions. Both are as close as one may get with the true NCLEX questions style.

Please be aware that if anyone mentions a refresher course for you, that will not apply to you since you do not hold a current nursing license.
We do have a forum here called the NCLEX Discussion Forum that may be of help for you, will move this to that thread. It has some great information there to help you in passing the exam, then you will be ready for a refresher course.

Look to see if there is a Hurst Review in your area, they also have an online review. This is a review that is done for NCLEX. They go over a certain amount of information and give you strategies on answering questions. I found it very valuable. You can find it at hurstreview.com
