Taking the NCLEX next Thursday and the anxiety is starting to get to really get to me :/ I've been looking over past posts for encouragement and it's helped but its really hard for me to stay positive right now.
I graduated last May and spent the last few weeks using Kaplan exclusively to study. I was doing HORRIBLE on the question trainers (nothing above a 52 even on readiness with a lowest score of a 48). I couldn't get myself to focus on Kaplan's ebook version of the content review guide so instead I've listened to the audio lecture reviews, took notes, and then practice tests for each category. Those scores have ranged around high 50s-low 60s. I'm about 80% done with the questions with 60% right. I still have to do all of the pharm questions, not my strong suit!
I plan on doing question trainers 5,6, and 7 in the next few days and hopefully doing well on those to gauge if I'm ready for the NCLEX.
I could really use any tips or just prayers/good thoughts/words of encouragement right now to help me stay focused and get through the next two weeks

I am taking my nclex this coming Saturday!! I am very nervous too. I finished doing all Kaplan Q questions my levels were between 50's and 60's I started with 40's and I reviewed contents and I did get a bit better. I did Trainer Q7 got 55% I am reading my rational and understanding why I am getting it wrong. I know friends passed nclex with kaplan 40 percentage what's important understand the rationals... Don't worry about pharmacology I know only basics majority of my friends took the board told me they got about 2 pharmacology questions. A day before exam try to relax I am going to review my precautions, labs and probably review a last exam took and read rationals. I will also review the PDF 31 pages. Good luck!

Hi soonnursetobe,

Hello all:
RN-Joy I feel you!!! I have my test next week too. One day before your test. I did today QT 7. I will start to read the rationales tomorrow. Let me tell you that since I started reading and understanding the rationales I have seen improvement. So, keep doing Kaplan. I did Hurst and my Kaplan Scores are 50s to 60s. My anxiety is killing me, but I'm trying to control my nerves!!!! Good luck!!!
Hi flnurse2b6 - The anxiety is killing me also!! I keep panicking and wanting to reschedule it to a later date but I think that will just make my anxiety worse. I think Kaplan has definitely helped me a lot too, I'm hoping it's enough since I haven't done any other reviews.
Good luck to you also!! We got this, this time next week we'll be RNs!
Hi RN-Joy:
I think this anxiety is normal. But we have to keep studying. We have to control our nerves. Many ppl says that Kaplan is harder than NCLEX. So, we got this!!! And Yessss!!!! We wil be RNs next week!!!
