Need some encouragement here....

No tips here, as I am just now studying for this one. Mine is scheduled 10/16. Just here to give you encouragement. Do we ever feel really ready? I know I don't. I question and second guess myself. Caramel660 was right in that some of the questions from the practice exam do show up so make sure to include the EC practice exams in your study. Also, now that I'm putting my NC 3 materials to the side, I come across a study guide that I had printed out some time ago that contained a good number of the questions I got on the exam. Go Figure!! Now I know a few that I answered right or wrong.

O'well! Time to move on......

:typingHello again! How is everyone?

I just wanted to share that I skipped over NC4 and jumped into NC6. I just knocked NC6 out today with a 'B'!! :yeah:

Funny thing.....I went in just fine and came out in pain!! :uhoh3: I think I pinched a nerve in my back while I was there!! LOL!! Not to mention that I banged my knee this morning and ended up limping home.

O'well, needless to say, although I thought I should come home and rest:yawn:, I already picked up a book on cardiovascular care to start my study on NC4:rolleyes:!! Can't run away from it for long. (ANY TIPS? :twocents: ) Just NC 4 & 5 left till CPNE!! I'm hoping to get through the CPNE by the deadline for this year's graduation!!

Congrats! Been awhile since I posted with you. I passed NC3 with an A also,just like you. Passed NC4 with a B. I took both EC practice exams for 4. I always do that to check out my weak areas. It was the first time I did not use study group 101, and I was nervous because I had changed up my study routine. I also used some of yahoo groups files. When is your test scheduled? You will do fine. Traci

P.S. I also used my A&P text and TCN guide...Just know EC's content guide. This was the one that I really worked myself up over, and I did better than I thought I would and you will too. Good Luck!

Yeah, it's been a while. I don't get on too much. I have endless amounts of things to do but I'm trying to get through my studying first. :banghead:

I don't have a test date yet because I leave it to the last minute once I feel well enough to test. Tuesday's exam I scheduled on Monday night! I hope to get this one done too sooner than later!

It is hard to get much studying done in this house but I try anyways.

How have your other exams been?

Well, as long as you are knocking them out of the way the way that is the main thing. One test at a time, and we will eventually get there just like everyone else. I made a B on NC7,NC1 and NC4. Made an A on NC3, and of course NC2 was waived. I also still have Soc., Eng. Comp., Info.Lit, and 3 Hr. humanity course. I was going to take Religion, but this one lady said if I could take something else to do so. ??? I don't know. You do what works for you, it sounds like it is definitely working. :up: Good Job! I learned just recently that GA board of nurses don't accept Excelsior college credits. Are you an Excelsior student??

Thanks! You too! It sounds to me as if we are on the same boat! You still have NC5 & 6. I have 4 & 5. Also Micro, Socio or Gerontology (still trying to decide), Ethics & Info lit.

So, how was the NC4 exam?
