If you are planning on taking the NCLEX, I highly suggest that you get Saunders review book........it does the best job of explaining things........why answers are correct, as well as incorrect. You may also wish to check out the International forum.......... :)

If you can invest some money, try to take Hurst review online. I recommend this because it has plenty amounts of questions related to delegation and priotization. I also had Saunders and it was fairly useful but sometimes it was just too easy or too much detailed. The online course is basically for reviewing the content but it gives you so much extra materials. Besides, Marlene in the course explains in layman's term so it's fun to study. I did not really see good questions related to your concerned area in any other books. So, if you can afford, I recommend to take Hurst online course.

actually, i am unemployed and do not have money to invest but thank you for the advise; if i can find someone to pay it for me sure, why not.
During clinicals, in post-conference, my instructor would have us give report to other students (as a group), and then we were to decided who we would see first, second... Then explain why. That really helped me understand the priority part. As far as delegation, I am not sure. Our library at school had some NCLEX books. -Andrea

unfortunately i am studying independently as a foreign trained nurse and unable to team up with nurses in my area. but yes during my training years group discussion helped tons. thank you kindly.
I am taking the Nclex by the second time, I have plenty of books almust all outthere.
So far I found that the New Delmar review by Thomson 2005, I think came out recently, is the closest to the real exam questions, also you have the posibility to study this topic separately, that make a huge difference, I doing very well after I practiced with this book.
I think thats this type of questions is not my concern, have to be focus in drugs, that also can study by this one, I hope that you find this book as good as i do.
Good look.
Ulices Cuban nurse taking the Nclex sometime before July 30.

Suzanne:
Since you are the most knowledgable about Saunders, I would like to ask you a question. I was using the previous Sanders CD and now have bought the new book and CD, and as you do, I love Saunders. However, I am having trouble with my new CD. I have taken 3 tests and I cannot get the reviews from them because a little box comes up and says "script error." I almost had a heart attack when one of my scores was 52.
I think I threw away the envelope my CD came in so I guess I should call Saunders, but don't have a phone number. Could you help me with this? I would be most grateful.

Yes, call them right away. I had a same problem with the CD which came with "content review". I phoned and spoke to one of cutomer service then she sent me a brand new CD by courier. It got here within 3 days! Actually, I was also directed to go back to a bookstore where I purchased this book, but this bookstore did not have stock anymore that time. So, I phoned to Saunders. Their customer service is great. Good luck.
