This morning I went to Elsevier in Makati asking them if they're selling CRNE reviewers. To my surprise, they dont sell books, they just recommend it to bookstores.
I also asked if there's a way on how to have a CRNE prep guide because the Elsevier in Canada has it, I was wondering if they can do something regarding my request.
She (administrator) asked me how many wants to buy it so that they can try to recommend it to a bookstore such as C and E. If at least there is 10-20 of us who wants to buy a copy from Canada (so that we can also bring it there), they might be able to help us...
If your intersted, just send me a PM so that I can give you my contact number.
Thank you....
hey guys when are you taking the crne exam? if you are hired by an employer they will be the 1 to provide you with the prep guide both the crne prep guide and mosby. yes its 75 canadian dollars here and i think you will have a hard time getting the book if you are still in the philippines.
just pm me if you need help i will try to help.
hi jh_nn3! To apply for CRNE you need to decide first the jurisdiction or the place where you want to work as a RN in Canada. then you can have your credentials evaluated by the regulatory body of that place (fill up application form, have your transcript sent to their office directly from your school as well as the verification of licensure and ielts result directly from PRC and British council respectively and pay the processing fee). Try checking out the CNA website for more info and links. Hope this can help you.:wink2:
i was also looking for that mosby prep guide. elsevier new zealand gave me an email add in elsevier canada, to ask how can i purchase the book. the email add is [email protected]. i already emailed her, just waiting for a reply from thier sales office. .this crne reviewer was not also available in elsevier-us,they told me that i may need to purchase the book directly in elsevier canada.
hope this info will be useful for you guys.:wink2:
hi lenjoy03, im also looking for prep guide in crne...
You do realize that this thread is three years old and the Canadian economy is in a slump (like the rest of the world). Overseas recruitment has ceased. Canadian new grad nurses can't find employment in their home provinces. Several provinces have hiring freezes and the few nurses that are being hired are being hired on a casual basis, which means that there aren't enough hours in the job to meet immigration requirements.

Im also interested in purchasing the prep guide. But I need to find some answers first. How can I apply for CRNE? Will the Canadian embassy give me a tourist visa if I present them the permit to take the CRNE exam?
