I am currently in the UTA RN-BSN program and i just found out that I need College Algebra! frustrating because i have had my transcript reviewed by several schools and all of them did not need me to take algebra as i already had statistic. FRUSTRATED!!! I know that UTA offer 2 types of algebra which is 1302 and 1301. I believe 1301 is a new course which is supposed to apply math to real life situation(i believe, don't quote me on this) and the typical 1302 college algebra. I already heard horror stories of the 1302 course which is why i am not planning on taking this with UTA. Do you know any other schools that offer college algebra online that are easier or at least doable or an online school that does not have a proctored math course. Thank you in advance.
There is a lot of work but it's doable because there is no time limit. The work isn't hard once you concentrate on it. I hate math but sometimes I set aside a day where I do nothing but Math. There are also apps such as wolframalpha that has helped me tremendously! Trust me Dallas College is way better than proctored exams at UTA! Plus they have many instructors to choose from just make sure you choose one that's not proctored because the list is quite long and some of them are proctored but its up to you to make that choice. Good Luck!

How is the level of difficulty with the college algebra through Dallas Community College? I just applied for admission. Thank you for this information about this college not being proctored! this truly does help a lot!!!
