  1. How is the level of difficulty with the college algebra through Dallas Community College? I just applied for admission. Thank you for this information about this college not being proctored! this truly does help a lot!!!
  2. What is the community college you took 1301 called? What is the level of difficulty? How is the course load and the test? I will definetly look into the course. Thank you in advance.
  3. Can you elaborate more on how this class is? How doable is this course for a person who sucks in math, is the test proctored, what are the topics discussed/taught, did you take this with another course, how is this different than college algebra 1302, who is the teacher you took, and did you take the 8 or the 15 weeks course? any extra info will help me tremendously as i am debating whether to take college algebra at a community college or take the 1301. If you want you can PM me. Thank you! (Sorry for all the questions)

  5. Those academic advisors are USELESS!!! they are inconsistent and dry! they don't go above and beyond for you... Simply don't care. I have complained about the course numerous times and even went to the math director etc... to no avail.
  6. I am currently in the UTA RN-BSN program and i just found out that I need College Algebra! frustrating because i have had my transcript reviewed by several schools and all of them did not need me to take algebra as i already had statistic. FRUSTRATED!!! I know that UTA offer 2 types of algebra which is 1302 and 1301. I believe 1301 is a new course which is supposed to apply math to real life situation(i believe, don't quote me on this) and the typical 1302 college algebra. I already heard horror stories of the 1302 course which is why i am not planning on taking this with UTA. Do you know any other schools that offer college algebra online that are easier or at least doable or an online school that does not have a proctored math course. Thank you in advance.
  7. Thank you! I was wondering are you thinking of going back to California or is Texas the place you want to be?
  8. I am excited and very nervous about the move from California to Rapid City, South Dakota! I am about 95% sure of moving and the other 5% reluctant to leave everything I know and love in CA! I am torn apart whether I should just bite the bullet and go or keep waiting for a hospital job in CA, which I don't even know when that may happen! I currently work at a SNF for 6 months and like everyone said, "you are risking your license..." I just wish the job offer was in CA! but unfortunately it's not... Has anyone moved to South Dakota or relocated out of state for nursing jobs and how did that work out? Opinions, opinions, opinions! Thank you :)
