I know on one hand , I could save the most money per diem for CRNA school vs I’m missing out the time to gain ICU experience . Appreciate any input ? Hello ?? everyone !! Here’s my stats.. RN 9+ years ms/tele/pcu. Debating to continue per diem vs. ICU opportunity (staff) , single mom of 1. Future CRNA career . It’s like should I make the highest $$ pay vs needed experience .. Cali native (cost of living) .?

You have a lot of experience but you need it in ICU before you can apply for CRNA school. They will not accept you with purely PCU experience… so I would get into ICU and gain that 1-2 years of experience to start applying.
Yes , thank you for your input , I decided to stay per diem and make more money ? right now . I can afford the pay cut going staff right now .
Yeah! You have to do what’s best for you!

Can’t you do per diem ICU? ICU RNs are doing very well financially.

Just know it sets you back CRNA school wise. They won't touch you without 1-2 years at least of full time ICU experience.
Yea thanks for input everyone , ima just stack my money while agency and pursue at Least my prerequisites since my GPA in undergrad was low <3.0. And just make it a long term goal
