i applied for nclex in california board of nursing and my schedule is on january 2010... i just graduated this april 2009 and have not read any nursing related books and i'm freaking out cause i have no idea of what to read, how to review... i cannot afford to go to review centers, i'm working 8 hours everyday to support myself and my brother...
what are good review materials? my sis told me saunder's is good. should i read comprehensive books or just dive in to reviewers or test books? 2 months of review is okay right?!
pls pls give me some advice. thank you

I am a 29 y.o. mother of 2. I graduated nursing school 7 years ago still yet to pass the NCLEX. I take it about 1 a year, i am now studying again to take it. It will be my 6th time and I don't know what to do. I have taken Kaplan and the Anderson review countless times i cannot afford to take the exam every 45 days. I have dreamed of being an RN since I was 11 y.o, in the 6th grade. Anyone know a secret or anyone with a similar story but succeeded? Any suggestions what exactly did you do?

i would suggest getting a lippincott n-clex review book, it worked for me. I studied for about two months before i went and actually took the exam, however there are other study guides but after researching all of the rest that one seemed to suit my needs the best
