Hi. I am a Cna in Philadelphia for 8 years now and I'm looking to go back to school to become a lpn or rn. I'm not sure what I should do or what route to take. Right now I'm looking into an lpn program that is a year long and then bridging over to my bsn in nursing while working as an lpn pr doind an rn diploma program then going for my bsn.
Does anyone know how long both bridge overs would take?
Thank you!

Depends on the school really.
Sometimes it's more time efficient to just go and do the RN or bachelor's program right off the bat -
If I had obtained my RN and then tried to bridge to BSN, it would take me around 5 years minimum. It's only taking me 4 years right now though going straight to BSN.
This varies again by school, and if you're unlucky and have to take certain classes only offered at specific times during the year. I was unlucky and missed a program cutoff date too, so I got held back a semester - if you're bridging, you might miss dates too depending on when your first classes end and the next program you want to attend begins.
You've got to remember cost as a factor too - if I was to bridge, it would end up costing me way more (almost 2x the amount) than it would just to go ahead and get my Bachelors right off the bat.
Scope out a few schools and speak to their advisers; they'll help to guide you to the fastest route that works best for you :)
