Hi,I am taking the pre-admission exam on Saturday and I was wondering if people found the exam easier or more difficult than the practice-tests on the text books. I have used the Barron's and NLN Study Guide by Mary McDonald.
Thanks.
Needless to say how anxious I am about it!!!
Anyone...?
Hello,
I used the same book alone and did well on the test. Test was only slightly more difficult than the practice tests. If you know just the basics of biology, anatomy, chemistry, and a little electronics the science is a breeze. The math on my test was application type questions with a little bit of a medical twist. Math for Health Sciences class was very helpful for this area. Probably the most difficult part for me was the vocabulary, lots of rarely used words.
I am an older student. I had been out of school a long time and scored a 144 and got into school( currently 1st year 2nd semester.) GOOD LUCK on your test.

ok, test is over. i did not look to hard but i got very frustrated with the time limit. i went pretty fast with the maths and still felt like i was not going to be able to finish on time.
Rafa, I know you're glad the test is over. It really is the time limits that get you and makes it more stressful. Do you know how you did? We had to wait a week to find out our scores - I think they love making you sweat it out!!!! Hope you did well. Susan
