First, please don't think it's the end of the world, becuase if this is your first fail, it's okay, I failed my 1st semester and got right back in at my same school to do it all over again. What is your schools policy for fails? Do you have to wait a semester? Most schools in Los Angeles County have you wait out a semester and you take a remediation course and you come back in. But you can try and tranfer to another school, but you have to be in good standing with your current program, meaning you didn't fail clinical, just lecture. Hang in there.
thank you for your support. i failed in 1st semester and this is my 2nd fail so now i am out of the programm. this was my last semester.now i don't know where to go i waste my time and money. i am looking for other college which i can apply again. if anyone has any suggetions.
Sorry to hear about that but it might not be over, just yet. Talk with a few other Community Colleges and see if you can challenge into their programs or petition the State to take the exam for your LVN, since you made it as far as you got, then work as an LVN for awhile and then try to find a program that has an LVN-RN Bridge program, they might take the credits you already taken and let you re-take the class you failed and finish up with your RN degree, ask your school, if you can get their approval to take the LVN exam or contact the State and see what you need to take the LVN exam. This might not be the result you want but the end result might get your RN license but talked with your school’s Nursing program and find out what your other options are first….Hang in there, you will be an RN, you just might have to take a different route but don’t give up!! Good luck and keep me posted!!

Hi desigirl80--
Wow, what a bummer. You must be feeling a lot of pain and disappointment. I hope you can find another program soon.
Have you had some time to self-reflect about why you failed twice? Is there some circumstance or stress in your life that made it too hard? Do you have a language barrier? You may want to address any underlying issues so when you get back into school you can give it your all and make progress!
Don't give up. Often the way we go is not the way we wished for or planned...but we can still make the journey a success.
Good luck!

First off, if she did have a language barrier, she shouldn't have been placed in the RN program. She selfishly took a spot that could have went to a more qualified student.
I suggest you go back to a community college and retake English 101.
I always see foreign students at our school cheating off each other, then fail utterly once they hit the RN program.
Just my .
P.S. I'm not being racist... I'm also from a foreign country.
thank you all. i have appointment with my programm director for my options. i am also thinking about LVN programm. how can i challange LVN borad?

To challenge for LVN will depend on the state and whether they will accept any training you have done. Suggest you contact the BVNPT as you state you are in Ca
