I'm already in community college and i just got advised that I should go to school part time in order to keep all A's next semester but it would take longer for me to transfer to the school of my choice. I'm considering of just getting my BSN here at the community college idk really because i just want to pick whatever is quicker to do. plz don't skip i really need some advice on this

You can only obtain an ADN from a community college but a lot of schools offer continuing education to get your BSN and set you up for an easy transfer over to a four year school, mine does that But I would knock out any class you can take at your community college first and then transfer save yourself a lot of money and at least for me I prefer the community college feel, a little easier smaller classes, and if you knock a lot out, maybe you can even get your BSN online cause with an ADN you already knocked out the sciences and clinical all you need really is just some upper English classes and some management classes.

That's not quite correct. AACN (Colleges of Nursing, not Critical Care) has recommended that CC's consider the creation of BSN programs on their campuses. HERE's the info. This has already begun. Miami-Dade - offering BSN since 2008 - is a good example. It doesn't fit the model for CCs, but it provides an effective solution to the BSN program access issue. It's very do-able and can add revenue to cash-strapped CCs.
