Need advice with CNA & PN program!!

Published

I am a nursing student in the PN program and I just started last week. I have been thinking more and more about getting my CNA also. Would it be a good idea to get my CNA and work as one while in the nursing program? On one side I don't want to be too stressed out with the CNA and PN progeams, but on another side I think it would benefit me more with my résumé. Thoughts?

In my program after the first term you are eligible to sit for the state cna exam. See if that is a possibility in your program. I'm currently a medical assistant and work while I'm doing my program. It's tough. I wish I didn't have to work but I have to pay for school.

It's a beautiful day to save lives.

Thank you! I had no idea that some programs had that available. I will talk to my advisor tomorrow about it.
