Need some advice asap!!!

Those of you who have already taken the Socio 350 class with DeVry, what did you think about it? Was it really time consuming with more writing than you expected?? AND those of you who've already graduated, what would you think about me or anyone else pairing the CAPSTONE with Socio 350?? I won't have a choice but to pair socio with the capstone if I want to graduate by June 2013, I'd just like to kinda know what to expect in advance. Although this has been a down-fall for me in the past, but I'm a person who likes to see the BIG picture before I start painting. Thanks a bunch!!

I don't remember SOCS 350 as being too difficult, but I took it with the Transitions course, which was much lighter than the capstone. I think we had a couple of small papers with SOCS 350, and then a final project paper -- nothing too crazy. Depends on your work/life schedule too, of course. It's been about 3 years since I took SOCS 350, so take my opinion/memory with a grain of salt! :)

Thanks so much for your reply LunahRN. In the end, I'm just going to either take Soc350 along with the Capstone or delay graduation by taking capstone alone. I'm not looking forward to all the writing, but I'll just have to suck it up and get it done.

I have 8 classes to get done. I chickened out last semester by registering for Soc350 and then dropped it!:nailbiting:

I'm going to courageously start classes again Oct 28 with transitions and health assess. I've read in these posts that health assess will consist of 4 article reviews and a powerpoint in week 7(I think I can do that:yes:). I've read that transitions is the easiest nursing class of them all. How many papers are there for transitions?

Transitions really doesn't have any papers. It has some assignments that require searches in EBSCOHost and CINAHL. I found SOC 350 to be challenging because there are several mini papers and essays (including in the quizzes and final exam) and the large research project due at week 7. I would have preferred to take SOC 350 by itself.
