NE-BC Exam

Hey guys - I am getting ready to take the NE-BC exam.

I was wondering if anyone has purchased any of the study guides/practice books? Which ones did you find helpful?

Any tips?

I realize these forums arent looked at very often at all...

But im in an MSN- Leadership program, and was interested in taking the NE-BC exam.

Some of my classmates said that finishing the program made us eligible to take the NE-BC exam, without having management/supervisor experience.

I told them im pretty sure theyre wrong.

Anyone know ?

Like if I have an MSN- Nurse Leadership and 2-3 years of regular bedside experience, I cant take the NE-BC correct?

Do not believe they are correct. That does not match the information on the ANCC site. The only thing waived is the 30 CE's. You need 24 months as midlevel management.
