NCTC ADN Spring 2021

Hi Guys!

I wanted to start a new thread for the upcoming semester! I am really hopeful to get in and start working on my ADN and maybe even the BSN bridge they have!

Does anyone know what you have to do to qualify for the BSN program? I have all of my Pre-Reqs done for a Traditional BSN program here in the North Texas area because that was my initial plan! I am hoping that I'll be able to join that and get my degree done in 2 years!

I looked at the previous years application cycle here on the forms and it looks like I might have a good chance of getting into the program (Fingers crossed.)

My Stats are this:

3.0 in my Sciences

All Pre-Reqs Done

TEAS: 78.7 overall

Reading: 80.9

Math 87.5

Science 74.5

English 66.7 (I hate English testing, I can write you an essay all day)

I really hope to get in! Whats everyone else looking like for this application program?

Hey McRosemann!

I am also applied for the Spring 2021 semester. Crossing my finger with this application.

This is my stats:

Science classes: 3.0

Finish all the pre-requisites for the BSN as well.

My overall TEAS: 90%

The breakdown:

Reading: 80.9%

Math: 100%

Science: 91.5%

English: 87.5%

I did not get in last time and re-take the TEAS again, hopefully this time I can get in! Goodluck to everyone!

To my knowledge they only accepted 1/3 of applicants last semester due to covid to I’m assuming there are a ton of applications for the Spring 2021 ADN program... I wonder when the emails will start going out.

Do you know if they accept SCIT 1407, 1408 instead of BIOL 2401, 2402, and do they expire? Anybody applying from Dallas area?

Thanks.

Hey! I am not sure if they take SCIT 1407 or 1408, but I do know they require a degree audit to apply. Here is a link to their transfer information if you want to look up your courses: https://www.nctc.edu/counseling-advising/transfer-guide.html

And I am applying from the North Dallas area, I live right by Plano! Hoping to hear back from them in the next few days!

Emails will be sent out by the end of next week!

does anyone here get any news from school?

Hey Chloe,

I got the news of acceptance last week. How about you?

I have not got any email from them? I will send them email to ask . Thanks for letting me know

It could be they send it in waves. But it does not hurt to send an email to them. Wish you all the best!

Would you mind if I ask how many points you have?

Not at all. If I count it right, I have 24 points.
