Aug 13, 20179 yr Hello you guys. I wanted to know about NCTC's nursing Requirements and or clarification that is. For their school is everything is based off a point system? If so, are you accepted based off the amount of points you receive? And does anyone know when the application is due for the spring semester because I was confused on the dates. It said the 1st of August then something in regards of september through october for the deadline.
Aug 13, 20179 yr I was accepted. I start Aug 28th. Nervous, I wish I knew more of what to expect and whats to come in the upcoming months.
Aug 13, 20179 yr CONGRATS TO YOU !! Could I ask how was the process for applying for this school ? There website to me isn't that great on explaining things . Are they just strictly based off a point system!?
Aug 13, 20179 yr It was very easy for me. Its points based. I had all my prereqs done. Made As,B,s and one C. Previous AAS degree (paramedic). I didn't do very well on the TEAs although im sure my previous medical background and grades made up for a low teas score. I sent it transcripts and did the application online. The staff are very helpful via email, Cindy Willis is the main one who answers most all questions for applicants.
Aug 13, 20179 yr As far as points; Idk. I will say that they don't go strictly off TEAs test scores like some colleges do such as TCC and DCCCD (They go highly off their HESI scores). On the application for NCTC it gives you an area where to put down addition information. I used this to include my hospital work experience, EMS experience and certification classes I've attended. I feel it was more fair this way and helped to include students who made not be a good test taker.
Anyone else get accepted for the fall?
