Ncsbn Reveiw Course.

Published

I'm currently enrolled with NCSBN for a 3 WEEK online study course. Can anyone tell me if a 67-70 percentile on the NCSBN practice exams is good enough to take the actually NCLEX? I'd really love to hear your input about your thots on the NCSBN reveiw..it seems as if I'm the only one enrolled with them since most of the posts on here that I see are with..kaplan...Pls Reply, Your Input is greatly appreciated!!!

I was consistently making 60-70% on that one, Saunder's practice quizzes on the cd, and the HURST review tests... and I nailed it in 75 questions :)

Just read the rationales behind why you miss.

I am testing in about 10 days and I am using NCSBN Nclex review course. As Taylor said make sure you review the questions you missed and understand the rationales. The score you are getting now do not predict how well you'll do on the test... (That's my opinion...)

Just make sure you understand the rationales behind missed questions.

Good luck!

hello there i already took the ncsbn too it wasnt like the actual boards though but it is good review...alot of content good luck!!

Thank You so much! I'm so stressed out to be honest....I haven't been reading content that much...i've taken the test before and I failed..and the methods that I used was just to study and memorize content without doing practice quesstions...I'M SO WORRIED THAT I'LL FAIL CAUSE I'M NOT READING CONTENT!!!...I'm so nervous.....I really wana make it..and it seems like it's impossible since I keep failing.....

Sometimes what you need is FAITH and CONFIDENCE in yourself. No matter what people tell you, at the end it all comes to your desire and willingness to go the extra mile in order to succeed. I am not sure if NCLEX is about memorizing the content. You've been through nursing school and they assume that you already have the knowledge. But what I hear from my friends, NCLEX is about applying your knowledge to any given scenario using your critical thinking skills!

Do as many questions as you can, know your weak areas, and make sure you review and understand the rationales of missed questions.

Good luck!

I see your taking yours too, I wish you GoodLuck. What are you doing in order to prepare aside from the NCSBN reveiw?? Are you still reading content or just practicing questions??? I have knots in my stomach right now just thinking about it....

I mostly do questions! I only read the content for my weak areas. The contents can be long and boring...LOL Beside the NCSBN review course, I have so many other books. Kaplan is good for strategies and Saunders is very good to go over what you need to know. Saunders CD is good for questions with the rationales...

Keep faith and tell yourself that you can DO it!

Good luck!

I took the NCSBN 3 week course review and scored 65% - 85% on various content. I am taking the NCLEX in 3 days (on the 10th of July)! I've also been using Saunders 4th edition. I feel like these have helped me prepare, but I guess I won't really know until I've passed. Good luck to you!!!

i dnt think those percentage would be an assurance that you will pass in nclex-rn exam. based on my experience when i was still having my review i only got 60% above after each exam and it did not bother me ill pass or not. instead i directed myself to study and read more. for me the exam does not measure how many percent you got right but it measure the consistency of your correct answer since it is where the computer will based your next question. when i got my result the only thing that was writen that i passed the exam indicating no percentage at all!

I think we all know that there is no 100% guarantee that you are going to pass. By wanting to know how others are scoring on their practice exams makes us feel.....at ease, like we are making progress. At least it helps me feel like I'm doing okay if my scores are similar to other peoples.

We all know that the NCLEX is Pass or Fail, no percentages. But, percentages is all we have to direct us before the NCLEX.

I did my fair share of questions, but I also read my Saunders book, and found a lot of material I had forgot and it was nice to brush up on it. Also found the NCSBN content review very helpful.

I took my NCLEX today and had 78 questions. I feel very good about how I did and feel that I was as prepared as I could have been. There were plenty of questions that I knew the answers to because of the review I have done over these last few months.

Looking forward to Saturday to get my results, good luck to all of you.
