Hi I'm in very difficult situation n need advice from you guys. I graduated from BSN program in 2014. I'm average student n was planning to take nclex in July 2014. But its life.. I got pregnant n I had very difficult pregnancy. After my baby was born she was in NICU n we don't have any family help, so my husband works full time to meet ends n I TC of his mom n my baby. I never gave up completely studying for nclex but now my baby can play by her self n I can manage few hours to studying. Every time I seat to study I feel I'm not doing right or I'm going to fail. I would really appreciate if I could get guidance from where to start n which books to use n how to practical is to take nclex?

You could do a couple of things....
You could take a Kaplan review course...pricey, but worth every penny
You could study on your own
Or you could just take the test...and if you fail, retake it in 90 days...
you passed nursing school, you could not have possibly forgotten everything you learned...
The thing is the test is so ambiguous, to this day( I took it 10 years ago!) I don't understand how you can "study" for it. You need to make sure you know how to take a test...a nursing school/nclex test...and that's what kaplans is for...if you don't pass after taking a review course, you are able to redo kaplans at no charge...
Good luck to you!!

How about contacting your nursing school and asking them if they could recommend a good review course for you or some kind of prep program? They like to see their graduates employed and have a high nclex passing rate so they will probably be willing to help. Ask!
