Hello,

I took my NCLEX 2018 and did not pass. I scored near passing standard in every level- ALL 265 questions.

At that time - I used UWORLD and both predictors showed I had a border line chance of passing- and yes that is exactly what happened.

Last week- I used the predictor again and I scored 92 with a high chance of passing. What really tripped me up was the way NCLEX asked the questions. It was simple and nothing like UWORLD and that really did not help me. This time I am using both NCSBN and UWORLD because I never want to be in that position again. Has this happened to anyone else? If you have taken the NCLEX you will the huge difference in the way the questions are asked. Thank you in advance.

Hey there! I was in the same situation as yours where I got caught off guard with how the way NCLEX's questions were like 'cause I got so used to answering questions from UWORLD.

I used NCSBN for my third try and finally passed! My take on it is that personally, I liked UWORLD for content, their Select All that Apply (SATA) q's, and their similar visuals of the NCLEX. BUT I definitely like NCSBN for their questions; they were more like the questions I stumbled upon in NCLEX - short and sweet (? haha). l also used LaCharity's Prioritization pdf book I found online (link below) to help me with more prioritization questions.

Don't give up! You've worked hard to get through nursing school - this is just the last hurdle! Hope this helps! Good luck! ?

Thank you. I was not ready the first time. I passed the second time using uworld, NCSBN( shows you have NLCEX will ask questions and tricks- loved this so much).

? I took a Rachell Allen live 10 day course. The course was the key for me. I did LaCharity until my live class started.

Now the RN job hunt is on.

Thank you all!
