I have taken the NCLEX a few days ago, just got my unofficial results of "fail" after taking 265 questions and sitting for 5.5 hours....I had tons of select all that apply, sequential order, and every other question you can think of. I took Buszta, a review class in ohio, but was still not successful. I was thinking of buying U-world...was anyone unsuccessful their first time, used u-world, and had a noticeable difference in # of questions and exam length? Is it worth the $109??? HELP

I like it so far. I'm down to 600 questions. You get about 1900s questions. It's very detailed and it has most of the information you will need. I wasn't good with select all the apply before when I used Kaplan and would always get them wrong but due to Uworld majority of SATA I get them right. And it prepares you with SATA because you'll get them most of the time in Uworld.

I've only taken the NCLEX-PN exam, but i ended the test with an 85 which was the minimum. I definitely thought it was worth it. I mean, once you pass and have that job, you're going to get your $109 back.

I passed the nclex in 75 questions. I had 26 sata, 1 ekg strip, and about 4 drag and drop. I used Uworld for about 3 weeks leading up to my test date. I used Kaplan at first since it was included in our school's tuition, however, their rationales were basically nonexistent. The rationales on Uworld are AMAZING and it really prepared me for all of the sata's I got during the exam. I learned so much and I only did just over 500 questions...so I definitely recommend it.

Its not only sata, uworld will help you answer prioritation questions. I took my nclex first time and passed. 6 sata, 1 computation , and most prioritation questions. Its all critical questions, with uworld it will help you analyze. You need to read the rationale. This is important. My friends used uworl, they did not pass nclex bec theyre not reading the rationale and all her questions are rationale. I availed u world twice just to read the rationale. And the more questions you have the more your getting ready with test. Goodluck

I just created a topic about my NCLEX experience. I took NCLEX twice. The first time I failed with 76 questions. I used just Kaplan, and Saunders for content review. I didn't feel Kaplan helped me. So, for the second time I had a private tutor who helped me a lot, and I used U world. I think U world has the most similar questions to NCLEX. Its rationalization is complete. Its questions are well elaborated, specially SATA and prioritization questions.

I definitely think UWorld is worth it! I took my boards for the first time in July and had 265 questions and failed. To study I bought hurst review and did all their videos and studied the content that they taught. After that I did almost every UWorld question that the bank had. Every time I did not know the answer I would write the rationale down on a flashcard and review it at the end of the night. I just retook my boards this week and the computer shut off in 75 questions and I passed! All of the questions were so similar to UWorld. I would definitely recommend it.

Yes!! I promise you! I took the NCLEX in May for the first time right after graduating, only having used the very expensive Kaplan review course. I got all 265 questions, used the full 6 hours, and failed. To my dismay, I used kaplan and NCSBN then again in July, and it was the same outcome. So then, for all of August, September and half of October, I then did Uworld. I did at least 75-100 questions a day and read over/studied every single rationale and took notes off of them all (the ones I got wrong AND right). I am SO overjoyed to say that with doing that, I finally felt confident going into the NCLEX for my 3rd time. I passed in *75* questions and I absolutely could not have done it without utilizing all of Uworld! It was my saving grace for sure, and i am so glad I did it. Highly, highly recommend! Good luck, you've got this!!

Thanks so much everyone. I decided to buy u-world and are about to start using its magic! Congratulations everyone on becoming a nurse, I hope to be like you in the next few weeks :)

U world is not a good option. Much of the content is incorrect. Try RN mastery or yourbestgrade.com. My Tudor was also amazing!!!!! Check her out on nursingthelaneway.com ....

Maybe uworld did not work for you but that doesn't mean you should bash it. The majority of people who have utilized uworld well have went on and passed their nclex, be it PN or RN so where is your evidence to prove that much of the content on uworld is incorrect? I too used RN mastery along with uworld, paid $30 for it and it was nothing compared to uworld and I don't mean that in a positive way.
