NCLEX Tomorrow-Kaplan Scores

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello all,

I am taking the NCLEX RN tomorrow for the first time. Here are my Kaplan Scores:

Diagnostic: 56

QT1: 55

QT2: 59

QT3: 57

QT4: 56

QT5: 63

QT6: 54

QT7: I didn't have time to complete this

Readiness: 63

What do ya'll think? According to Kaplan, you should score 60% or higher on the readiness exam to be able to pass. Any similar scores and you passed? I will keep ya'll updated.

You will be fine.. Did you read rationales for missed questions?

Yes! I read all of the rationales on the questions I got right and the questions I got wrong. Kaplan really helped me identify where my weaknesses were.

It's scary to see those scores (50-60%) and think you can pass with them.. but hopefully I will!

Any suggestions for the rest of the night, tomorrow morning and the night? I am very nervous for SATA

When you are taking the exam, just pace yourself. You know the information. If you feel anxiety, stop, take a deep breath and start answering again.

SATA's will be straightforward. You know the info. If you get hung up on something, try to use your strategies you have learned to make the best possible guess... I wish you the best of luck. I just said a prayer for you. Get a good nights rest:)

Oh yeah, it is norm for you to be a little nervous before, during and after, but try to contain it during the exam so your able to think...

Don't focus too much on your scores! It is all about how well you learned your Kaplan strategies, because that is what will get you through your exam. Ofcourse basic nursing content is needed, but the most important thing for you to keep in mind is to think the "NCLEX way" as opposed to the real world. Remember, the NCLEX questions are set in the "perfect" world.

Yayyyyy!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!! So awesome!
