  1. My school used ATI as well. My predictor scores were 75%. I didn't feel prepared enough to take the nclex until I bought kaplan live. It comes with practice tests in a variety of questions up to 265 and the qbank. I completed 7 of the tests over 2 weeks and the course content and passed nclex on the first try. Hope that helps
  2. So glad you posted this because I am wondering the same thing! I see this was posted a few months back so if you wouldn't mind giving me your advice now that you know what you are doing?
  3. I thought ATI was ok for testing content but not set up enough like the NCLEX. I had access to both ATI and Kaplan and I thought Kaplan was way better in preparing me for the test
  4. It's more useful for the NCLEX to remember what NOT to take things with. I would just remember no milk and not worry about it any further
  5. It's CAB for CPR and ABC for everything else!
  6. i used to brain dump constantly while taking tests in nursing school and i am here to tell you that you will be so focused and will be concentrating on the questions that you wont be brain dumping. i only used the white board to tally how many SATA questions i got
  7. know your meds and know your precautions. i would recommend doing kaplans on demand course. i decided last minute to do it and completed it in a week. good luck!
  8. yes you will be fine! I got a 63% on my readiness test and passed.
  9. I took Kaplan on demand mainly because I wanted access to the question trainers and qbank. I watched a few of the videos in the areas I was weakest in. I liked the course over all and learned alot about how to handle the questions. I passed the nclex last thursday
  10. I don't think that that will be an answer on the actually NCLEX but just in case I would still go with the unsterile if left unattended rule
  11. Yes! I read all of the rationales on the questions I got right and the questions I got wrong. Kaplan really helped me identify where my weaknesses were. It's scary to see those scores (50-60%) and think you can pass with them.. but hopefully I will! Any suggestions for the rest of the night, tomorrow morning and the night? I am very nervous for SATA
  12. Hello all, I am taking the NCLEX RN tomorrow for the first time. Here are my Kaplan Scores: Diagnostic: 56 QT1: 55 QT2: 59 QT3: 57 QT4: 56 QT5: 63 QT6: 54 QT7: I didn't have time to complete this Readiness: 63 What do ya'll think? According to Kaplan, you should score 60% or higher on the readiness exam to be able to pass. Any similar scores and you passed? I will keep ya'll updated.
