Im new to this site and I just took NCLEX-RN yesterday, so I will find out my results tomorrow, I am too nervous to do the PV Trick, However, during testing I encountered a question that no one else seems to have ever had, but me. The question was a picture and I was asked to ID what should be done for it. Has anyone else had / know someone with this type of question?
Hi topnotchdiva,
sounds like you had an alternate format question. Some of my study resources have questions that give a patient chart, picture of a wound, iv bags, whatever and then ask what to do with them in a given scenario.
Congrats on sitting for the test and I hope you've succeeded!
3rd time test taker.. first attempt stopped at 85.. next attempt went to 205 and now stopped at 90.. i feel like everytime i get a SATA question im never positive of my answers.. and i feel like im guessing most of the time.. since i stopped at 90 im assuming i didnt answer the basic questions correctly in order to get up to the higher level questions..
any suggestions on what to use to become more familiar with the content part of the nclex and how to better answer those sata questions.. i use the true and false method but its kinda pointless if ur not familiar with the certain content of the question..
