Hey everyone! So after finishing nursing school in December I scheduled to take my NCLEX on Jan 13, 2014, I had been doing questions from Kaplan and getting scores like the other students in my class. Some of them took it a week before me and got 75 and passed. I figured I was good. WRONG !!!! I failed that beast with 78 questions!! I knew it as soon as I left the seat that I failed! I was in there barely an hour, I felt week on content and meds. So I spent the first week buying books everyone recommended and reading threads like this. I got my new paperwork and re-registered 45 after my first test date. I began just reading Saunders and doing the Kaplan course book. I was doing 100 questions a day. Well my test date was Friday the 28th (Yesterday). Monday I locked myself in a room and started reading Saunders content and read it front to back! I was in that room for 4 days and I read the hesi book on Thursday. I kept doing the Q Trainer tests and getting the scores they suggested. I studied until 9 pm the night before!! My test was at 8 so I arrived at 730 and started right then. I slowed down and took my time. I read each question and eliminated the wrong answers. After 2 hours it asked for a break and I was in number 70 so I took a break. I came back and answered 5 more and it shut off at 75. I felt good this time. I felt like I knew every disease or problem they asked. I got 12-15 Select all, 1 exhibit, 4 order, and a couple math. I felt way better this time. I came home and checked PVT and I got the good popup, so I have so wait until Monday for sure. I can't wait for my wife and I to start our life together now!!! Monday night the apps and resumes go out everywhere!!!
