NCLEX Takers Support Thread

I will be taking my Boards on May 15th. After reading this thread I feel confident and very supported. Thank you for taking the time to allaying all of our fears with your words of wisdom and cyber hand holding. With God and diligent studying I will pass (this time).

So nether do I, there is one thing I learn about pray and studying. God always works through our faith. Also it depend what kind of need we have. Always we asked God to give what we what but if there is no faith nothing will happen. Regarding Nclex we asked him to get us through, and our studying style is weak and God he can not came out from heaven and do that Exam for us. So any way we need to study much by asking God to give us strength on those areas that we're weak. Remember there is time for every thing, and your not alone I have been there and I can truly understand what your going through, there is a day and time for us let keep studying .God bless you.:redpinkhe

I am still not working as they are still interviewing people and that position is not filled, neither have I been rejected. I am sometimes fruastrated but I know that this is not from GOD. I have applied to 45 jobs as of now and I have a second interview in an assisted living on friday. I am praying that somebody gives me a job as this is too much work and emotionally draining. I didn't know that it would be this difficult. Please keep me posted.

I have takingn nclex for six times since I graduated in 2006 and have not passed. I don't know when I will get money to retest and I just did one last month, So I will like to join the prayer .

I thought about you couple days ago regarding your job. So any way my dear friend I truly understand what your going through, but don't worry there is a hope, same time GOD allow hard time to come to us, just to shape our future this is a time for you to stand still and pray that Lord to open doors of opportunities to came to your way,. When you worry you reject the work of God towards you. Jeremiah the Prophet 1; 8 sayth be not afraid of there faces; for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord. Again in Isaiah 44; 8, fear ye not neither be afraid have not I told thee from that time and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? Yea there is no God; I know not any. Isaiah 43; 16-19. Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the might waters, which bringeth forth the chariot and horse the army and the power, they shall lie down together, they shall not rise; they are extinct, they are quenched as tow. Remember ye the former thing neither consider the thing of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth shall ye not know it. I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. We are all in the same bout, but that does mean anything there just an obstacles standing on your way, there is time for every thing take this time as one way of empower you to be a better person don't let disappointment and discouraged drop down your faith, you did make it to day so what you will make it tomorrow, you don't have money to day pick up your studying tools go studying, the time when you get money you will be ready to re-test , do something productive every day take advantage of every opportunity you get for studying. GOD is so good my dear friend and he surely makes a way when there seem to be none and when we feel that all is lost he proves himself time and time again. After my first interview, I kept applying for jobs til I reached 60 in total. At this point I was so discouraged and was just ready for no we are not hiring new grads or the waiting game that has been going on. So a week before my second interview, something just told me to search for all the nursing homes in my county and call them, afterall the only thing that I had to loose was my time and them saying sorry. So I did and none of them responded and the ones that did was the same old story. However on wednessday before the interview at this point I had completely forgotton about every single one of them, I got a call for an interview that was for friday. I was both numb and speechless that they would even call for an interview. The devil was bussy however but GOD had a better plan as my car broke down the next day and I was contemplating not go go afterall nothing good was not going to come out of this I thought. When i woke up on friday something told me to go. I walked about 15minutes to the train station and took the train much closer to the place and called a friend to take me. GOD beening so good and against all odds I was offered the Job. To GOD be the glory. Never underestimate what GOD can do and don't think or help GOD with his work. He has his own time and season for us, our job is to believe and do the best we can. I will keep you posted as they would call on tuesday to finalize the deal.

Hear me O Lord; for thy loving-kindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies, (Psalm 69; 16.).Am so happy for you dear friend I know the distress you where going through, praised the Lord. I didn't forget you my friend, may be if you will, I will always be hear. At least one pressure is relies of looking for a job, always the begging is hard; One thing you will not believe all those places you apply for jobs there will call you. Thanks be to God, his work is honorable and glorious; and his righteousness endureth for ever, (Psl 111; 3). So any way be bless my friend, all goodness shall follow always in your life and you will glorify him.

I will be taking my nclex-lpn in Oct. I am retaking the test and now I am a widow with 2 small children and I dont have the time or money to throw away and really need to pass and I do miss working in the medical field. So for all of you that do believe in GOD, I am praying for all of those who take the test in general and I hope you all pray for me. If anyone has any hints or study guides or anything to help, please let me know.

i just found out to day that i failed my nclex.... i cant believe it but its true..so i have 45 days until i can retake it..any suggestions on studying...i can use all the prayer i can get......

Sorry to hear you failed.

Do not rush to resit the exam. Have a small break before you start studying again. Practise questions and make sure you understand what is being asked and read the rationale even if you got it right

I did receive the phone call as they had promised to confirm on tuesday. It is a done deal, I have the Job but I don't know when am starting. Thank you Jesus!!!. And thank you for being such a good friend. I can't wait for you to pass the boards. I will be here whenever you need to talk and would update you on my progress with the job. Have you thought about starting your bachelor's , I started today and am anticipating fininshing next fall. Let me know what your plans are maybe we can share ideals. Am so happy for you, I fill like am the one going through this I have joy. Press be to God. Am sure you will know when you suppose to start. To God be the Glory. Ooh dear say that again I can't wait to pass this exam too, I think now am going crazy with this studying, and now am getting mix-it up with meds, HIV and chemo, am just pray that I wont get them on the day of exam. Am so tired, any way about BSN I will know soon I finish this Exam, By the way since we have been talking back and forth would you like to exchange emails sometimes.
